yay for baptisms!!!!
so the mother and daughter i talked about in the last couple of emails got baptized :):) it was a super spiritual
baptism!! the dad has been a member his whole life, but not
active. his parents are super active and have been trying to get missionaries
over to teach them for about 6 years now. so ALL of his family were over
there and we prolly had about 60-70 people at the baptism. it was awesome. the
grandfather baptized em, and when he was in the font with his daughter-in-law, he said her
name, and got half way thru the prayer, and just started crying. he
couldn't even speak for about 2 mins. and then he finished speaking, and then
baptized her. and then his granddaughter got in the font, and she is 11. and he couldn't
even say her name, he was just crying. i think everyone in the room was crying.
super awesome spirit there. then after like 4 mins he was able to baptize
her. it was soo awesome!! i'll send pics of it when i can, i can't upload pics at
this dumb library haha.
oh then not this weekend, but next weekend we will have
2 more baptisms :) they aren't related, just wanna get baptized haha. :) then
the week after that... another baptism!!! in total, we should have around like
4 or 5 baptisms in our area this month. it's so awesome!! i love it.
